Ogilvy Paris Announces the Launch of the 3rd Edition of Hors Circuit
Oct. 25, 2023
Ogilvy Paris launched Hors Circuit in 2021, a free springboard competition to help talented artists emerge without a network. The competition is open to young artists residing in France between the ages of 18 and 35. It is open to directors, illustrators, sound designers and graphic artists.
Convinced that talent has no origins, neighborhoods or limits, Ogilvy Paris joins forces with its partners Instagram and Les Determines for the third edition of its Hors Circuit competition.
The winner will benefit from all the expertise of an agency like Ogilvy and its network, as well as material and financial assistance to bring his or her personal project to fruition.
To take part, you need to present your artistic project via Instagram and apply before November 30 on the Hors Circuit website platform.
The winner will be announced on January 18, 2024, and will be supported until the completion of his or her creative project. Last year's winner was Eugène Bolengu, dancer, scriptwriter, and director. His short film is currently in production with H&O (Ogilvy Paris).
Matthieu Elkaim, President, Ogilvy Paris said:
"We're continuing our commitment to greater diversity in the creative professions with season 3 of the Hors Circuit competition. This initiative still has the same objective: to give a chance to artists and creators who have talent but no network. We've learned a lot from the first two editions. We've seen that these initiatives, however imperfect, are welcomed and necessary. Because they show the way, they inspire and give hope. The more people we mobilize, the greater the progress we'll make. In this respect, we are delighted to welcome Instagram as a new partner this year."
The Jury
Composed of communications professionals, artists and committed entrepreneurs, the jury will select the winner on December 19, 2023, based on the relevance of the project and the creative idea.
Partners
Moussa Camara, Founder of Les Determines said:
"Hors Circuit fits in perfectly with our mission at Les Déterminés. We want to give young people the opportunity to express themselves and unleash their creativity. We want to support these young people and build bridges to help them realize their artistic projects. That's why we decided to join forces with Ogilvy on this initiative."
Chloe Reaute, Head of communication - Instagram said:
"I'm delighted to be able to support the Hors-Circuit program. Helping new talent to emerge, giving them the tools to express themselves and reveal the full potential of their creativity, is at the heart of Instagram's mission. We'll be alongside Ogilvy, and everyone involved around the initiative for its 2023 edition."
