Somethin' Else Appoint Absolute Radio Number 2

Somethin’ Else has recruited Chris Skinner, currently Executive Producer at Absolute Radio, to join their team also as Executive Producer. Chris will oversee many of Somethin’ Else’s current productions for BBC Radio as well as taking a key role in the development of future projects for the BBC and other clients. Somethin’ Else is currently the largest independent producer of radio content for the BBC including programmes such as The Essential Mix, Trevor Nelson’s Rhythm Nation, Essential Classics and Gardeners’ Question Time.
At Absolute Radio, Chris currently oversees the Christian O’Connell breakfast show and has led it to record audience figures. In his three years there, he’s also been responsible for launching the Jason Manford show and producing the station’s Isle of Wight coverage. Chris is also the co-creator and producer of one of the UK’s most successful podcasts, The Bugle.
