Move over Elton. Deborah Meaden Stars In Armpit Charity Christmas Single
Nov. 08, 2022
Keep your armpits and the planet happy this Christmas as carol singers "The Fussy Pits" are here, aiming for Christmas Number 1 with a brand new Charity Christmas single featuring Dragons' Den fav Deborah Meaden…bringing a touch of silliness to the world when we all need it most. Who needs John Lewis now?
Brainchild of sustainable deodorant brand Fussy and 10 Days, the charity Christmas single stars "The Fussy Pits" a group of carol singers who surprise a bewildered couple on their doorstep with a spectacular rendition of ‘Deck the Halls’ using nothing but their armpits as instruments. There’s armpit slaps, armpit bells, armpit violins and of course armpit farts…lots of armpit farts. It’s fair to say this might just be the silliest thing you will see all year…
Deborah Meaden said:
"The amount of single-use plastic we throw away every year is just silly. So why not a silly song to help provide a solution! Now more than ever is the time to be Fussy about the brands and products we choose to support."
And this is a truly enormous problem - at Christmas the amount of plastic packaging sent to landfill equates to 114,000 tonnes - that’s the same weight of 650,000 reindeer!
The single is to be released on Tuesday 8th November on all major music platforms and each download will stop 1kg of ocean-bound plastic in partnership with Plastic Bank.
The campaign was created and produced by 10 Days London, directed by Jolyon White, the song composed by Dominic White, and produced by George White.
