Have you had Enough of the Tyrannical Elf on the Shelf? Get your Own Back with Stink Studios' Festive Game

Have you had Enough of the Tyrannical Elf on the Shelf? Get your Own Back with Stink Studios' Festive Game

Dec. 20, 2023

You’ve heard of the Elf on the Shelf. Now get ready to turn the tables with Stink Studios’ festive revenge game for frustrated parents: Shelf on an Elf.

The tradition of Santa’s "scout", Elf on the Shelf, has taken hold around the world, and more and more parents are joining in. Every night they must remember to move the elf from one location to another to maintain the illusion that the elf is keeping an eye on the kids – all so he can report back to Santa on who’s naughty and who’s nice.

No matter how late they’ve staggered home after a Christmas party, parents can’t afford to forget the elf, or it’s game over. But the team at Stink Studios has had enough of the tyranny of these elves, so they’ve flipped the whole concept on its head.

Shelf on an Elf is a festive treat with a twist. A new game of skill that gives people the opportunity to get their own back on those red and white pests, by dropping shelves on them from all angles.

The players’ aim is to drop as many shelves on an elf as they can, building up a stack while keeping it carefully balanced so that nothing touches the floor. As soon as just one shelf drops, the game is over.

Stink Studios’ Shelf on an Elf game is simple and fun to play, but the festive treat is powered by the team’s craft and technical skills, using the latest 3D physics, game design, art working and 3D modelling.

Shelf on an Elf can be accessed via promos on social media, social sharing and a QR code. Every game also concludes in a shareable asset, with a link to the site.
