Gerety Talks with Kishwar Kaniz Tanzim and Saffanat Husain, of Asiatic Marketing who were the winners of the 2023 AdFest Young Lotus Award. Tuesday, July 11^th.

Just like the award show, the Gerety Talks series puts some of the marketing and creative industries true changemakers in the spotlight and at the centre of the conversation for a refreshing take on what leadership looks like.

Kishwar Kaniz Tanzim, Senior Visualizer, Asiatic Marketing Communications Limited:

Kishwar Kaniz Tanzim is a young visual artist, who is at the same time a caricaturist, an illustrator and a graphic designer. She is currently working as Senior Visualizer at Asiatic Marketing Communications Limited, Bangladesh. Besides many achievements, her most recent achievement as an Advertising Professional is winning ADFEST Young Lotus 2023, happened in Pattaya, Thailand. This is the first time in Bangladesh a team is winning this prestigious award.

These all started with her passion and dedication towards art and craft. She started painting from a very early age and bagged many awards for her creative artworks and exhibitions. In her artworks, she mostly prioritizes human emotions and never forgets to leave a message.
Utilizing her skill, now she is serving brands like - Nestle, Marico, Bata, WaterAid etc.
Kishwar is a dreamer, who dreams to make everyone smile the widest; in her caricatures which is clearly visible. She believes, "With a smile, the world can be a better place."

Saffanat Husain, Strategic Planning Associate Manager, Asiatic MCL:

Since childhood, creativity has been an aspect she has always been intrigued by. She loved making handmade cards, origami, art, etc. She knew what her friends and family would like as gifts. Always anticipating the needs and wants of her loved ones when crafting their gifts has helped her develop the understanding and needs of her audience.
As she grew up, her curiosity towards advertisement started to increase. This led her to pursue Marketing communications and Advertisement from Kingston University, London. She finished her undergrad and continued with a Masters. During this time she learned about the practical and theoretical aspects of advertisement.

Currently, she has a professional strategic planning experience for over 5 years where she worked in the best advertising agencies of Bangladesh, as well as demonstrated a myriad of successful projects in the advertising industry of Bangladesh under her belt.
Recently, she got an opportunity to learn from the best international advertisers and compete with international contemporaries in Ad fest, where she won and received the title of Young Lotus 2023.
